Monique Reid - Chronicles of a visit to our Studio

August, 2012

Monique Reid came into our world almost a year ago when she ordered a Katz backpack and an Agnetha iPad case from our online shop. Despite being a busy attorney, she kept sending us updates about the whereabouts of our products and gave us thorough and useful feedbacks. Monique also kept sending her friends over to our website and has been a great supporter.

World Peace?

May, 2012

A friend of mine sent me the link to this video, saying that it might not bring world peace but nevertheless worth six and a bit minutes if my time. Can't argue with any of his claims.

I did not manage to find out who is the mastermind behind these beautiful pieces of engineering, art and design.

Supra-Quintessence

July, 2011

When we asked Miky Glupczynski, the owner of Supra-Quintessence, what is the philosophy that drives his shop, he quoted a sentence from his grandma's repertoire: "I am not rich enough to buy cheap stuff". This, he says, describes best what his beautiful shop in Brussels, Belgium stands for, offering long lasting quality products that are beyond fashion trends.

We found this letter in our mailbox. You can click into this post to read its content. It was from Nina Venus, an artist that bought one of our Gustav bags. We very often get emails from happy customers but this good-old-fashioned letter was a great surprise. It was self folded (no envelope) and sealed with a wax seal.

BLU - Stop motion graffiti

July, 2010

BIG BANG BIG BOOM is the latest work of Bologna-based street artist and stop-motion painter BLU. BLU combines various forms of art (Grafitti, stop motion, photography, music) into beautiful works of art and uses urban landscapes as his three dimetional canvas. We admire his creativity and talent, but more than that we admire his craft and dedication.

This perfectly preserved 5,000 year old shoe was discovered in an Armenian cave. It has blown away researchers due to its excellent condition relative to its age.
The shoe, made from vegetable tanned cow hide dated back to 3500BC (The Chalcolithic period), is constructed of a single piece and was tailored made to fit its owners foot.
